Louise McMillan started their work experience in February 2013 as an Event Coordinator at Bangor University. In this role, they interned within the Academic Department and assisted with the organization of the International Arthurian Society British Branch Annual Meeting. Louise also had the opportunity to partake in editorial work for the Annual Bibliographical Bulletin for the society and work towards the eventual publication of the collection. Their responsibilities included project management, scheduling, liaising with academic professionals, producing conference programs, assisting with the organization of speakers, and editing the Annual Bibliographical Bulletin.
Louise then moved on to work as an Academic Mentor at Bangor University from September 2013 to June 2014.
In February 2015, McMillan joined Newton Media Group as the Head of Projects, a position they currently hold. No end date for this role is provided.
Louise McMillan obtained a Master's Degree in Medieval Literature and Culture from Birkbeck, University of London. Louise studied at this institution from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature, General at Bangor University, where they studied from 2011 to 2014. In addition to their academic qualifications, Louise McMillan also holds certifications in Prince 2 Practitioner from ILX Group (obtained in February 2018), PRINCE2 Foundation from PRINCE2.com (obtained in July 2017), and First Aid at Work from the British Red Cross (obtained in 2018).
