Hisham Jamal

Hisham Jamal has a diverse range of work experience. Hisham started their career at DicoTech Qatar WLL as a Quantity Surveyor Intern, where they learned about quantity surveying and cost estimation. Hisham also gained valuable communication and workplace skills in this role.

Hisham then moved on to Mint Staffing Solutions, where they worked part-time as hospitality staff. In this role, they worked as a waiter or behind the bar, providing high-quality service in a high-pressure environment. In their current role as Graduate Recruitment Manager, they are responsible for defining and executing the strategy for Newton's Graduate Recruitment function. Hisham focuses on scaling up the recruitment campaign, creating alternative pathways for early year talent, expanding early year roles, improving the selection process, and reducing the workload on the business. Hisham manages a team of 4 in this role.

Hisham Jamal earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Manchester in the years 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Doha College from 2007 to 2013, specializing in A Levels subjects such as Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Geography. Additionally, Hisham obtained a certification in Mental Health First Aid from Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England in 2022.
