Steve Dyde

Steve Dyde has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Steve started their career as a Solicitor at Ashurst, working on various corporate and commercial matters. Steve then moved on to Darbys, where they served as the Head of the Corporate Department, overseeing the establishment and management of the company's commercial department.

Steve later joined Celoxica as the General Counsel, Director, and Company Secretary, contributing to the software hardware co-design of the technology spinout from Oxford University.

Steve then transitioned to Vanco plc as the Head of Legal and Group Company Secretary, where they led a team responsible for legal matters in over 40 countries. During their tenure, Vanco plc became a London Stock Exchange quoted international telecoms services provider.

After working at Vanco, Steve served as the General Counsel at Global Cloud Xchange, a global telecoms services provider. Their responsibilities included managing the acquisition of the Vanco group through a bid process.

Following this, they joined Affinion International as the SVP and General Counsel of its International division. In this role, they managed the legal department and oversaw loyalty solutions for major banks and credit card issuers.

Currently, Steve is working as the COO at Newton Europe Limited, a consultancy focused on transformational change. Steve is involved in implementing sustainable improvement initiatives in various sectors, such as healthcare, transport, defense, and local government.

Throughout their career, Steve has gained extensive experience in managing legal departments, overseeing complex acquisitions, and driving operational and financial improvements for successful organizations.

Steve Dyde attended Warwick School from 1972 to 1982. Steve then pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in Law from Exeter University, graduating in 1986.
