Bill McCarthy has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Bill started their career as a Commissioned Bank Examiner at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in 1992 and worked there until 1997. Following that, they joined Hewitt Associates as a Processing Manager for two years. Currently, they serve as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Newtown Savings Bank, where they oversee the bank's asset liability, profitability, and budgeting models. Bill also chairs the Bank's Asset Liability Committee, responsible for implementing financial strategies and managing interest rate risk.
Bill McCarthy received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics from Fairfield University, where they studied from 1988 to 1992. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance, General at Sacred Heart University, from 2000 to 2004.
