Prasanta Sarkar

Prasanta Sarkar is currently serving as the CEO & Co-founder at Newtrace, where Prasanta is focused on developing next-gen scalable & modular electrolyzers for producing green hydrogen. Prior to this, Prasanta worked as a Founder in Residence at Entrepreneur First, where Prasanta iterated quickly on building businesses on a variety of problems. Prasanta has also held roles as a MSCA Research Fellow at Université Grenoble Alpes, an Aerospace Designer at Leonardo, and a Faculty Member in Mechanical Engineering at The ICFAI University, Tripura. Prasanta holds a Ph.D. in Fluid Mechanics, Energy and Process Engineering from Université Grenoble Alpes, an MS in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Manchester, and a BTech in Aerospace Engineering from SRM University.
