Mark Stoermann has more than 30 years of experience in the dairy industry. Mark is an experienced Chief Operating Officer, Director of Operations, and Manager, having held several leadership positions in companies such as Newtrient LLC, STAR BioEnergy, ampCNG LLC, Renewable Dairy Fuels LLC, Fair Oaks Dairy Farms, ConAgra Foods, Raskas Foods, and Michigan Milk Producers. During their career, they have led different projects related to anaerobic digestion, gas upgrading systems, renewable energy, and CNG fueling stations. Stoermann has also managed the operations, reporting, and business of companies, developed content, supervised shift work, installed equipment, and trained production personnel.
Mark Stoermann obtained a Certificate in Total Quality Management from Pennsylvania State University-Penn State Mont Alto in 1993-1994. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from St. Cloud State University during 1981-1983. Mark also holds a certification in Total Quality Management from Penn State Mt. Alto.

Newtrient is focused on providing an unbiased view of today’s manure management technologies and advancing promising companies, technologies, products and markets that solve for manure management challenges. Newtrient was founded in 2015 by a collective of leading dairy companies and organizations.
