Manager of Merchant Support at Nexio

Heamasi Mataele has been working in the customer service industry since 2014. In that time, they have held multiple positions with two companies. Heamasi began their career with G2 Secure Staff as an Alaska Airlines Customer Service Agent at the Salt Lake City International Airport. Heamasi then moved up to become an Alaska Airlines Customer Service Team Lead and an Alaska Airlines Contract Supervisor. In 2020, they joined Nexio as Manager of Merchant Support. In this role, they oversee Customer Support, Implementations, and Help Desk teams and assists in training new hires. Additionally, they report on Key Performance Indicators to maintain and improve quality of work and productivity. In their Customer Support role, they take inbound phone calls for merchants regarding their accounts and assists in answering questions about navigating in different systems, billing, or troubleshooting their credit card terminals. Heamasi also processes all change requests for the merchants including account closures, seasonal reopening, and reset passwords to gain access into either their gateway or the Nexio Dashboard.

Heamasi Mataele attended Salt Lake Community College from 2013 to 2014, where they studied Business Administration, Management and Operations.
