Josiane Seixas is a seasoned mining professional with extensive experience in mine planning and management. Currently serving as Mine Planning Manager at Nexa Resources since March 2020, Josiane oversees topography and mine planning teams, focusing on mining method definitions, ore reserves, and mine sequencing. Previously, as a Mine Planning Consultant at MINARQ CONSULORIA E PROJETOS, responsibilities included planning mining activities and budgeting. Josiane's notable tenure at AngloGold Ashanti spanned from May 2003 to January 2018, where advancements included roles such as Chief of Mining Planning Department, Chief Mine Planning Engineer, and Senior Mining Planning Engineer, all emphasizing strategic planning, layout design, reserve estimation, and budget elaboration. Josiane holds a degree in Mining Engineering from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais and has pursued further education in management and organizational development from the University of Cape Town and Fundação Dom Cabral.
