Ts. Ahmad Tarmizi Ahmad Shanusi

Ts. Ahmad Tarmizi Ahmad Shanusi has a diverse range of work experience in various leadership and technical roles. Ts. Ahmad Tarmizi started their career as a Graphic Designer at Ablemen Communications in 2004. Ts. Ahmad Tarmizi then moved on to become a Creative Director at Kteractive from 2005 to 2008, where they were responsible for managing creative projects and maintaining the company's identity.

In 2008, Ts. Ahmad joined Colours of Asia Sdn. Bhd as a Web Engineer, where they managed the corporate website and IT infrastructure. Ts. Ahmad Tarmizi then transitioned to SKALI Group in 2010 as an E-Business Solutions Evangelist, where they played a key role in increasing revenue and restructuring the overall product lineup.

Ts. Ahmad joined Curtin University and Limkokwing University of Creative Technology in 2011 as an Associate Lecturer and Head of School & Senior Lecturer, respectively. At Limkokwing University, they led a team of multinational faculty members and achieved marketing and enrollment targets. Ts. Ahmad Tarmizi also facilitated curriculum revisions to improve industry-specific programs.

In 2016, Ts. Ahmad became the Chief Information Officer at AERODYNE GROUP, where they led the design and development of industry-leading platforms like Vertikaliti and myPRISM. Ts. Ahmad Tarmizi also designed and developed cloud-based solutions that provided significant time and cost savings to clients.

Most recently, Ts. Ahmad joined Nexagate Sdn Bhd in 2019 as the Chief Product Officer. Here, they led the design and development of Nexa Security Intel, a unified cybersecurity management solution. Ts. Ahmad Tarmizi built and managed an in-house development team and developed hybrid cloud and on-premise cybersecurity solutions for clients.

Ts. Ahmad Tarmizi Ahmad Shanusi completed their Bachelor of Multimedia (Hons.) degree in Interface Design at Multimedia University from 1998 to 2004. Ts. Ahmad Tarmizi earlier attended The Malay College Kuala Kangsar (MCKK) from 1993 to 1997. In 2014, they obtained a Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia in Artis Multimedia - Visual (Level 2) from Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran. Additionally, they have recently obtained the certification of Professional Technologist from the Malaysia Board of Technologists in 2022.
