Jonathan Demay

Jonathan DeMay currently serves as the Manager of Transmission and Market Analytics at Nexamp, where responsibilities include evaluating transmission and interconnection opportunities to enhance the company’s energy portfolio. Previous experience includes a role as a Senior Staff Interconnection Planning Engineer at Bloom Energy, contributing to state interconnection working groups and influencing utility standards. Earlier positions involved leadership in project studies at Duke Energy Corporation, focused on distributed generation and microgrid interconnections, as well as transmission system planning at AVANGRID, where Jonathan led risk analysis and collaboration with ISO-New England. Jonathan began a career as an Applications Engineer at Alstom Transport and gained initial experience as an Electrical Engineering Intern at IBC Engineering P.C. Jonathan holds advanced degrees in Energy Systems Engineering and Electrical Engineering Technology, along with a Bachelor's in Mathematics, and continues education at Duke University and the University of Michigan's business school.
