Satoko Wakasa

As Vice President of Strategic Growth, Satoko leads strategic investments, M&As, and growth initiatives with the goal of expanding Nexamp’s core competencies and achieving long-term corporate objectives. She reports to the Chief Strategy Officer and works cross-functionally with various group leads.

She is a corporate development professional in the energy industry with 10+ years of global experience. She has led corporate/asset-level M&As and project finance activities at Diamond Generating Corporation and Mitsubishi Corporation before joining Nexamp in 2022.

Satoko holds a Master of Science in Management from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Laws from Keio University in Japan. She is a registered yoga teacher and enjoys weekend brunches with her husband and son.
