Lonny Peet

Lonny Peet is the Director of Engineering in Nexant’s Utility Services business unit based in Portland, Oregon. He manages and supports Nexant’s core engineering function across North America. Lonny oversees the technical deliverables and provides program management and technical support to energy efficiency (EE) programs. He possesses more than 11 years of utility and EE experience delivering innovative program and technical solutions to utility and end-use clients. He has managed the design, launch, and administration of many gas and electric utility DSM programs targeting a span of market sectors, ranging from small business to industrial markets. Lonny’s expertise includes energy management, program design, marketing, energy assessments, custom project energy analysis, measurement and verification (M&V), and workflow optimization. Lonny earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Wisconsin – Madison. He is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Oregon, Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP), Certified Practitioner in Industrial Energy Management Systems (CP EnMS), and President Emeritus of the AEE Columbia River Chapter board.
