Robert Williams

Robert Williams, CIC has over 25 years of experience in sales and marketing. Robert began their career in 1995 as V.P. Sales and Marketing at Royal Equipment and Supply, Inc., where they conducted all sales and marketing activities and earned million dollar sales awards in 1998, 1999, 2000, and 2002. In 2006, they became a Sales representative at Mark VII Equipment, where they marketed capital equipment and assisted with the development of business plans, proformas, zoning, permitting, and marketing issues. In 2007, they joined Okun Insurance (Marvin Okun Agency, Inc.) as a Marketing Manager and Insurance Agent and Certified Insurance Counselor. Robert then moved to Lighthouse Insurance Group in 2016 as an Account Executive. In 2018, they joined the Retiree Health Care Resource Center at Lighthouse Insurance Group as an Account Executive, where they specialized in Medicare plans and assisted businesses and individuals in finding Medicare coverage. In 2020, they joined Lighthouse, An Alera Group Company as Senior Producer, Individual Benefits, where they helped individuals make a successful transition to Medicare or individual health insurance. Most recently, in 2021, they became the Sales Director at Nexben.

Robert Williams, CIC has an education history that includes an Associate of Arts degree in Advertising from Northwood University, a B.B.A. in Marketing from Western Michigan University - Haworth College of Business, and a CIC certification from The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Individual Marketplace Certification (Exchange Certified Agent) from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) from the National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research, Medicare Advantage/Medicare PDP from BCBSM, Priority Health, United Healthcare, and Humana, Michigan Resident Producer, Life, Health, Accident, Property and Casualty Insurance from the State of Michigan, and Ohio Non Resident Producer, Life, Health and Accident Insurance from the State of Ohio.
