Louis de Clercq

Louis De Clercq is an experienced general manager and business development leader with a robust career spanning over three decades in the automotive and trucking industry. Currently serving as the General Manager for Nexen Europe Group since March 1997, Louis has successfully developed distribution networks across Western and Central Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, while implementing new budgeting and logistics systems. Previously, Louis held the position of European General Manager at Horton, where significant market penetration was achieved in the American cooling systems sector. Prior roles include European Field Sales and Service Manager at Eaton Truck Components, managing sizable teams and strategic operations across Europe, and Sales Manager at Iveco, where substantial growth in market share was attained. Louis holds a master’s degree in Economics and Management from a military academy, completed in 1972.
