Ben Salter

Ben salter is an experienced chartered professional accountant (cpa) with over 14 years of experience working ina variety of industries, with a focus on the energy and commodities sectors. Ben joined nexgen in 2021 and transitioned into the vice president of finance role in october 2022. Prior to joining nexgen, ben served in multiple roles at methanex corporation, where he managed a team responsible for financial reporting, internal controls, and global budgeting. Early on in his career, ben obtained his cpa, ca designation at pricewaterhouse coopers before moving to alterra power corporation, where he managed a team responsible for the finance, budgeting. External reporting, and treasury of multiple canadian and u.S power projects, including the construction of a run-of-river hydroelectric power plant. Ben holds a cpa, ca designation, and a bachelor of commerce degree from the university of victoria.
