Luke Moger

Luke is a professional engineer and project management professional with operational experience spanning field-level technical roles in mining operations and major capital projects through to acting as general manager for large remote mine sites. Luke’s on-site experience is complemented by his work in corporate settings on organizational initiatives, including having led major permitting and infrastructure projects, Indigenous partnership agreement implementation and operational excellence initiatives.

Prior to NexGen, Luke served as Assistant General Manager and Operations Manager for Imperial Metals Corporation for the Red Chris Mine during the transition into the joint venture partnership with Newcrest Mining Limited. Prior to that, he served as Operations Manager for Imperial Metals Corporation and Project Manager, Mining Operations for Mount Polley Mining Corporation.

At NexGen, Luke is responsible for leading NexGen through the rigorous regulatory permitting and licensing process for the Rook 1 project, and manages a multi-disciplinary team that is collectively advancing NexGen’s integrated approach to the regulatory process.
