Velvet Gamez has extensive experience in customer service and product development, currently serving as the Regional Customer Service Manager for the Americas at nexgen|packaging, LLC since September 2014. Previously held positions include Customer Service and Product Development Manager for Latin America and Senior Product Developer at Guru Knits, Inc., where responsibilities included being a Trims Buyer for the textile industry in Guatemala City. Prior to that, Velvet Gamez worked at Aceros Suecos, S.A. as an Assistant in Management and Imports and started a career at Wal-Mart as a cashier. Velvet Gamez earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Universidad Rafael Landívar between 2014 and 2021.
