Jaime Giesen

Jaime Giesen, GISP, is an experienced GIS professional currently serving as a GIS Specialist, Analyst, and Developer at NexGen Technologies, Inc. since October 2021, contracted to the Federal Government. Prior roles include Senior GIS Analyst at the City of Arvada, where responsibilities included creating and updating web applications for various city projects, and GIS Coordinator at Commerce City, managing a GIS team and overseeing enterprise geodatabase administration. Additional experience encompasses positions as GIS Analyst and GIS Technician at the City of Thornton, and as a Hydrologic Technician at the U.S. Geological Survey. Jaime holds a Master of Arts in Global Community Engagement from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Science in Land Use from Metropolitan State University of Denver, with a minor in Geology.
