Shanta B.

Shanta B. has had a range of positions in the healthcare field. Shanta started as a Charge Nurse at DESOTO HEALTH & REHAB LLC in 2010, then became an Assistant Director of Nursing at Covenant Dove, LLC in 2012. Shanta was later promoted to an RN Supervisor and then a Director of Nursing at the same company. In 2016, they moved to Orianna Health Systems as a Director of Nursing until 2019. Shanta then worked as a Director of Nursing Services at Diversicare Healthcare Services Inc. before becoming a Director of Nursing at Nexion Health in 2020.

Shanta B. has a diverse education history. In 2005-2008, they completed Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse Training at Northwest Mississippi Community College. Shanta then pursued an Associate's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse at Southwest Tennessee Community College from 2012-2013. Continuing their education, Shanta earned a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Mississippi University for Women in 2018-2019. Finally, in 2023-2025, Shanta attended Maryville University of Saint Louis to obtain a Master's Degree in the field of Post-MSN Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
