Simon Brooks

Simon Brooks has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and analysis. Simon started their career as an Analyst Programmer at Wycombe District Council in 1991 and worked there until 1994. Simon then joined Creative Insurance Services as a Senior Analyst/Programmer and worked there until 1997. At Policy Management Systems, they served as a Technical Consultant, writing feasibility studies and leading the technical team for a new implementation in Trinidad. Simon joined The Economical Insurance Group in 2001 as a Senior Analyst/Programmer, where they successfully implemented a reinsurance module.

In 2003, Simon joined CNS as a Senior Analyst/Programmer and played a key role in the transition to a maintenance phase while evaluating new insurance processing systems. Simon then worked at Travelers as a Senior Developer from 2004 to 2009, taking on responsibilities such as testing, financial reconciliation, and designing interface applications.

Simon returned to Insurance Systems Inc. in 2009 as a Lead Developer, where they quickly adapted to the company's proprietary modeling language and web-based architecture. Simon was later promoted from Senior to Lead Developer and played a significant role in the design and development of the contacts module.

Simon continued their career at Ansvar Insurance in 2011 as a System Developer until 2012 before moving to NexJ Systems as a Senior Developer. Most recently, Simon has been working at Insurance Systems Inc. since 2013 in the role of Senior Developer.

Simon Brooks attended Staffordshire University from 1987 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree. During their time at the university, they pursued studies in the fields of Computer Science and Physics.
