Andre Swartjes has extensive work experience in the semiconductor industry. Andre currently holds the position of Principal Test Engineer at Nexperia since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at NXP Semiconductors for a significant period. At NXP Semiconductors, they served as an NPI Coordinator and System Manager, where they were responsible for driving NPI test solutions and leading the complete industrial flow from start to production. Andre also held the role of Test Engineer, developing test programs for automotive ICs and serving as the chairman of the local tester user-group. Furthermore, they worked as a BLES (Business Line Engineering Support) Engineer, evaluating new tester platforms, setting up test-program structures, and providing application support. Before joining NXP Semiconductors, they worked at Philips Semiconductors as a BLES Engineer, supporting multi-site test-program conversion and system optimization. Additionally, they worked as a Development Engineer, designing and debugging tester hardware modules and programming tester module firmware. Andre Swartjes began their career at Philips Semiconductors in 1994 and has since gained comprehensive expertise in test engineering and semiconductor industry practices.

Andre Swartjes attended Hogeschool Arnhem (HTS) from 1989 to 1993, where they earned a degree in Electrical Engineering (ing.).
