April Joy Garete

April Joy Garete, PMP, is a Principal Engineer in Advanced Materials and Package R&D at Nexperia since April 2017, where responsibilities include chairing the Back-End BOM Platform Team and serving as a subject matter expert for Epoxy Molding Compound and assembly materials. Previous experience includes a role as Senior Engineer in Advanced Material Technology and Modelling, focusing on materials selection and lifecycle management within Nexperia's global materials team. Earlier, April served as a Project Leader at NXP Semiconductors, managing assembly material qualifications for power packages. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree and Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of the Philippines, complemented by foundational education at Saint Andrew School.
