Jan Driessen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the semiconductor and research industries. Currently serving as a Smart Manufacturing Architect at Nexperia since November 2019, Jan previously held various roles at NXP Semiconductors from 2000 to 2019, including Principal Industrial Engineer, where significant achievements involved modeling capacity performance and recovering hidden capacity losses in the ICN8 fab. Jan also coordinated programs related to advanced equipment/process control and line yield improvement. Prior experience includes positions as PVD Process Manager at Oerlikon, R&D coordinator at Eindhoven University of Technology, and research roles at the Royal Dutch Academy of Sciences and the Joint Institute for Laboratory Astrophysics. Jan holds a PhD in Physics and a Graduate Degree in Physics from Eindhoven University of Technology.
