Jan-Joris Gommans

Jan-Joris Gommans has extensive work experience in the semiconductor industry. Jan-Joris is currently a Sr. Principal Product Quality Engineer at Nexperia, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at GOODIX Technology INC. as a CUSTOMER QUALITY MANAGER / SIX SIGMA BLACK BELT from 2020 to 2022.

Jan-Joris also has a long history with NXP Semiconductors, where they held various roles. From 2018 to 2020, they served as a Principal Quality Engineer - Certified Six Sigma Black Belt. Jan-Joris was also a Principal Quality Engineer Mobile Audio from 2014 to 2020. Additionally, they completed Six Sigma Black Belt certification training and projects, as well as Six Sigma Green Belt certification. Jan-Joris'sroles at NXP Semiconductors also included being a Principal platform quality engineer from 2008 to 2020.

Before joining NXP Semiconductors, Jan-Joris worked at Philips Semiconductors, where they held roles such as Project leader PA modules and Test Engineer RF. Jan-Joris also worked at breedband MMIC's as a Test engineer RF Power componenten.

Jan-Joris started their career at RTP Mactwin as an Electronics engineer.

Jan-Joris Gommans attended Fontys University of Applied Sciences from 1988 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications. Jan-Joris also studied at Hogeschool Venlo during the same period, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications as well. Prior to that, Gommans attended MTS Helmond from 1986 to 1988.
