Petra Beekmans van Zijll

Petra Beekmans van Zijll is a seasoned communication professional with extensive experience leading communication functions in major technology firms. Currently, as the Sr. Director - Head of Global Communications at Nexperia since February 2017, Petra oversees global communications strategies. Before joining Nexperia, Petra served as the Director of Marketing Communications and Branding at NXP Semiconductors, where responsibilities included developing the brand identity for the newly independent Nexperia. Prior roles at Philips Healthcare encompassed Sr. Marketing Communications Manager positions in cardiology and magnetic resonance, providing strategic communication consultancy. Early career experiences include account management and communication consultancy for Philips Design and other roles in marketing and customer service. Petra holds an Executive Master Course in Business/Corporate Communications from Rotterdam School of Management and a Bachelor in Communications from Fontys University of Applied Sciences.
