Rita Faria

Rita Faria, PhD, has a diverse work experience in the semiconductor industry. Rita most recently worked at Nexperia from April 2019 as the Head of Global Sales Quality and Customer Care. Prior to that, they were a Senior Quality Engineer at Nexperia from July 2017 to April 2019. Before joining Nexperia, Rita worked at NXP Semiconductors for several years in various roles including Senior Industrial Engineer, Director Of Quality, and Senior Engineer of Materials and Process Development. Rita started their career at Triton Technology as an Applications Specialist, where they managed a thermo-analysis laboratory and conducted testing and reports on various materials.

Rita Faria, PhD, earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Engenharia de Polimeros from Universidade do Minho, where they studied from 1996 to 2002. Rita later pursued further education and completed their PhD in Material Science and Chemometrics at the University of Bristol from 2004 to 2011.
