Russ Poteet

Russ Poteet has over 30 years of experience in television news operations, currently serving as the Director of News Operations at KLBK (CBS) and KAMC (ABC) since June 2003. Prior to this role, Poteet held the position of News Director at KAMC-TV (ABC) from March 1999 to June 2003 and worked as an Executive Producer at WXLV-TV (ABC) from August 1995 to March 1999. Earlier experience includes serving as a News Producer at KGBT-TV (CBS) and working as a Photographer at KNWS-TV. Poteet holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications from Harding University, with prior education at Texas State University and West Nottingham Academy.
