Mark Cox has extensive experience in the medical device industry, with a focus on sales and marketing. Mark started their career at Cyberonics, Inc. as a Clinical Specialist, where they educated and trained physicians on technical matters and provided clinical support during neurosurgery cases. Mark then moved up to the role of Therapeutic Consultant, where they marketed therapeutic solutions to the neurosurgery market and created promotional programs to increase product exposure. Mark was later promoted to Account Executive/National Account Manager, where they established strategic relationships with key opinion leaders and exceeded revenue goals.
After their time at Cyberonics, Inc., Mark joined Cyberonics, Inc. as an Epilepsy Marketing Manager, where they revamped the marketing program and managed multiple territories and regional and national marketing programs. Mark then moved on to Intuitive Surgical Devices as a Senior Clinical Sales Representative, driving sales of instruments and accessories and positioning the company as the preferred choice for robotic surgery.
Mark is currently the Director of Business Development at Nexstim, a medical device company specializing in image-guided transcranial magnetic stimulation. In this role, Mark is responsible for strategic clinical sales and marketing at key academic and clinical targets across the U.S. Mark also led the clinical sales development of new sales employees.
Mark Cox attended Texas A&M University-Commerce, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. Mark completed their education at this institution in the year 1994.
