Fari Akhlaghi

Fari Akhlaghi currently serves as Vice Chairman and Group COO at Symax, an international investment house, since March 2020. In addition to this role, Fari Akhlaghi holds positions as a board member for NEXSYS - ONE, Positive Nutrition AG, and Z Prime, all since March 2022. Fari Akhlaghi has also been the Managing Director at RAD-management since February 2012. Previous experience includes Vice President of Major Projects & Strategic Advisory at AECOM from October 2008 to January 2012, Managing Director and CEO at Blue City Company 1 from January 2004 to September 2008, Managing Director at FCB LLC from December 2000 to January 2004, and Executive Director for Africa at Black & Veatch from January 1997 to January 2001. Fari Akhlaghi was a professor at Sheffield Hallam University from March 1993 to March 1999, holding the title of Tarmac Professor of Facilities Management. Educational background includes advanced degrees from the University of Strathclyde and Sheffield Hallam University, complemented by earlier education at Sutton Valence School.
