Ian Glasgow

Ian Glasgow is the President of Next Advance, Inc. since August 2003 and has served on the Capital Region Workforce Development Board in various roles including member, chair, and vice chair since March 2016. Prior experience includes a board member position at the Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce from January 2015 to December 2017, and roles as a Research Scientist at the New Jersey Institute of Technology and Engineering Manager at BioArray Solutions. Previous engineering positions include Sr. Mechanical Engineer at Summit Technology and Beckman Instruments, as well as Development Engineer at Sierra Scientific. Ian Glasgow holds a PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, an MS from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
