Piyush Padmanabhan is the CEO and Co-Founder of Next Big Innovation Labs®, a company focused on 3D Bioprinting technology. In addition, Piyush is also the Co-Founder and Director of Apara Technologies, working on biotech products, and serves as an Honorary Adjunct Professor at JIS Institute of Advanced Studies & Research. With previous experience at Roche and Biocon in sales and marketing roles, Piyush brings a wealth of knowledge in the biotechnology industry. Piyush holds a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from Vellore Institute of Technology.

Next Big Innovations Labs (NBIL) is a startup of enthusiastic individuals on a mission to confront the world’s most challenging problems in the healthcare space. We are a research driven startup working on a novel approach to tackle the current muddle vexing the pharmaceutical, clinical and cosmetic R&D sectors. We feel we can crack these problems only by using the disruptive technology of 3D Bioprinting. At NBIL, we focus to solve the organ availability crisis plaguing the entire globe using 3D Bioprinting; aiming to create a world where the abyss between organ demand and availability for organ transplantation is bridged by in-vitro organogenesis.
