Dr. Ali Akhtar Ali is an accomplished finance and investment professional with extensive experience in the asset management sector. Currently serving as Executive Director at Next Capital Limited since February 2018, Dr. Ali has previously held senior leadership positions, including Deputy Managing Director at TPL Life Insurance Limited and Chief Executive Officer at JS Investments. During tenure at JS Investments, Dr. Ali achieved significant accolades, such as leading the JS Islamic Fund to become the top-performing equity fund in Pakistan and earning multiple Lipper Awards. Dr. Ali’s career also includes roles in fixed income sales, corporate advisory, and portfolio management across various reputable financial institutions, complemented by an Executive MBA in Finance and a medical degree (MBBS).
