Melisa Laura Díaz began their work experience in 2016 as a Translator for various organizations, including the Global Partnership for Effective Development Co-operation, UNDP, The Red Elephant Foundation, United Nations Volunteers, Taxi Europa, and the United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC). In 2020, they transitioned to the role of Software Developer at Ava Security, where they worked until February 2022. Currently, they are employed as a Software Developer at Next DLP, starting in February 2022.

Melisa Laura Díaz obtained a Master's degree in Specialized Translation from Universitat de Vic – Universitat Central de Catalunya from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at UNIVERSIDAD AUTÓNOMA DE ENTRE RÍOS from 2009 to 2014, specializing in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instructor. In 2005 to 2008, they attended Saint Margaret English Institute to study English, and from 2003 to 2008, they pursued Secondary education in Pedagogy & Modern Languages at Escuela Normal Superior Mariano Moreno. Additionally, Melisa completed a course titled "Corrección, estilo y variaciones de la lengua española" in linguistics at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2017. Melisa Laura also acquired knowledge in Principles and Practices of Computer-Aided Translation from Peking University in 2015, and took a course on Think Again: How to Reason and Argue at Duke University in 2013. Melisa has obtained various certifications as well, including a Coursera GTC Statement of Accomplishment from Coursera in 2016, Principles and Practices of Computer-Aided Translation certification from Peking University in 2015, and an IELTS certification from the British Council in 2014.
