Kim Garpvall

Kim Garpvall has over 10 years of experience in the gaming industry. They currently hold the position of Senior Game Developer at Next Games, a Netflix Game Studio, starting in November 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Game Developer at Moon Active from October 2021 to October 2022.

From 2014 to 2021, Kim worked at King as a Senior Game Developer. Before joining King, they worked at NEKTAN PLC as a Flash Game Developer from November 2013 to March 2014. During their time at NEKTAN PLC, Kim successfully developed a series of slot games for William Hill, completing them a month ahead of schedule.

From 2012 to 2013, Kim worked at GAN as a Flash Games Developer. They played a key role in porting American land-based casino slot games and developed a new game engine that significantly reduced the average game development time. Additionally, Kim designed and implemented middle-tier solutions for external partners, helping them integrate APIs into their games.

Prior to GAN, Kim worked at Gala Coral Group as a Junior Flash Programmer from February 2011 to May 2012.

Kim Garpvall obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Game Design from Blekinge Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2007 to 2010.
