Muhammad Iqbal has a strong work experience spanning over several years. Muhammad started their career as a Consultant Software Engineer at PINUM CANCER HOSPITAL in 2009, where they reviewed current systems, generated new ideas for system improvements, and produced detailed specifications. In 2011, they joined Ambosco as a Sr. Software Engineer, where they coordinated with the Technical Director for requirements, defined software architecture, and coordinated with the team for implementation. In 2015, Muhammad became a Software Development Manager at NAXXA Consulting, where they ensured efficient progress of client projects by creating a well-defined software development environment, defining/automating build and release processes, and reviewing and improving the current architecture. Muhammad joined Ciklum in 2017 as a Principal Software Engineer, where they contributed to business development activities, led internal project-based solution delivery teams, and architecting digital technology solutions. In 2018, Muhammad became the Chief Technology Officer at Next Generation Business Solutions.

Muhammad Iqbal began their education in the field of Computer Software Engineering at the Virtual University of Pakistan, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree from 2002 to 2006. Following this, they furthered their studies by completing a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree in Computer Software Engineering at the University of Bedfordshire from 2006 to 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Iqbal also obtained several certifications. In June 2016, they obtained the MCSD (Microsoft Certified Solution Developer) certification from Microsoft. Muhammad also earned a certification in "70-486 Developing ASP.NET MVC Web Applications" from Microsoft in February 2016. Furthermore, in May 2023, they received a certification in Advanced Business Development: Communication and Negotiation from LinkedIn.
