Viv MacIndoe

Viv Macindoe is currently serving as the Programme Coordinator for the Next Generation Critical Communications Lead Entity since February 2023. Prior to this role, Viv held various positions at Colliers, including Operations Coordinator and Business Operations & Compliance Manager, where tasks encompassed operations and contract support, compliance and risk management, project management, and relationship management. Experience also includes positions as Compliance Officer and Finance Administrator at Jarden Corporation, Sports/Netball Coordinator at St Benedicts Catholic School, and Owner/Property Manager at Redwood Collier Properties, among other roles in business analysis and management. Viv holds a Bachelor’s degree with Honours in Business Studies Property from Massey University Palmerston North and has further academic qualifications from Queen Margaret College.

Next Generation Critical Communications Lead Entity

The Next Generation Critical Communications Lead Entity (NGCC), Poutama Whai Tikanga Pāpāho, is the government’s leading advisor on critical communications for public safety in New Zealand. Established in 2020, the NGCC Lead Entity supports healthier, safer and more connected communities throughout New Zealand. We work with agencies and companies on programmes to enhance public safety operations through sharing innovation, developing capability and leading the implementation of change. Our team of critical communications experts and corporate professionals is responsible for the Public Safety Network Te Kupenga Marutau (PSN), one of government’s largest infrastructure initiatives. The PSN will begin to deliver modern, secure digital communications from 2023 through a new national radio network, cellular services and personal alerting for Hato Hone St John, Fire and Emergency NZ, Wellington Free Ambulance and Police.
