David Kinkead

David is a true international educator having worked in four countries as a teacher and a leader in IB, UK and American curriculum schools. An American High School graduate, David went on to gain his Law degree, LLB (Hons) from the UK before moving into education with his PGCE from The University of Sunderland. David has been based in the Middle East for over fifteen years first at the British International School of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and then in Dubai at Gems World Academy. David has continued his education as a leader through numerous courses including a Certificate in School Management and Leadership from Harvard University and most recently his Master’s degree in International Education. David prides himself in helping to provide a holistic education for all children understanding that a school must meet their academic, physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs. A champion for inclusion brought on by his own experiences as a dyslexic learner David is passionate about ensuring that all children have the right to education. David has fulfilled the role of Deputy Superintendent for the last two years at NGS leading the opening of the new high school program for Grade 9 in 2021-22 amongst many other initiatives. David has been living in Dubai for the past six years with his wife Rania, who is a Deputy Head of a leading IB school and their children Sara and Ramzi.
