Alon Shiran

Alon Shiran has extensive work experience in product management and leadership roles. In 2022, they joined Next Insurance as the Vice President of Product and Design. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President of Product Management at Yelp from 2015 to 2022. At Yelp, they also served as Director of Product Management, Group Product Manager, and Product Manager during different periods.

Before their time at Yelp, Shiran worked at IAI (Israel Aerospace Industries ltd) from 2011 to 2014, where they held the positions of Product Manager and Chief Test Pilot, as well as Team Leader and Instructor.

In 2005, they co-founded ePassportPhoto.com and worked as a co-founder until 2014. Prior to that, they served in the Israel Defense Forces from 2004 to 2011, holding various leadership roles such as Senior Team Commander and Operations Manager (Major), Head of Section (Lieutenant, Captain), and Team Leader (Second Lieutenant).

Alon Shiran completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mathematics and Physics at The Open University of Israel. Alon then attended The Hebrew Reali School from 1991 to 2003, focusing on Computer Science. Later on, Alon pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 2014 to 2016.
