Amit Shlomovits

Amit Shlomovits has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. Amit began their professional experience as a Teaching Assistant at Ariel University, where they contributed to courses on Memory & Data Structures in C++. Following this, they joined the IAF - Israeli Air Force as a Full Stack Web Developer, responsible for designing and developing complex software using Angular and Node. Amit then transitioned to the role of DevOps Team Lead, managing a team of 4 engineers and supporting multiple development teams. In this position, they created and maintained CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Drone CI, and Bamboo.

After their tenure at the IAF, Amit joined Journeez as a Professional DevOps Consultant. Here, they focused on creating production-grade infrastructure on AWS using EKS, CloudWatch, RDS, and S3. Amit also set up Jenkins and created CI/CD pipelines, utilizing Terraform and Packer for infrastructure development.

Currently, Amit is working at Next Insurance as a Senior DevOps Engineer, applying their expertise in the field to contribute to the company's operations.

Amit Shlomovits completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in Information Systems from Bar-Ilan University from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Mathematics (B.Sc) from Ariel University between 2012 and 2015. In terms of additional certifications, Amit obtained the following: Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in June 2020, AWS Certified Developer - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in April 2020, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in February 2020, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate from Microsoft in May 2020.
