Chelsea Leung 🐢 has a diverse range of work experience. Chelsea began their career at The University of Texas at Austin as a Food Server. Chelsea then went on to work as an Accounts Intern at Bensyl Consultancy Services Pte Ltd, where they gained experience in accounting and client relationship management. Chelsea also worked as an Office Assistant at LanguageUSA, Inc., where they assisted with various tasks related to translation and interpretation services.
In 2020, Chelsea joined Chewy as a Customer Service Representative, where they excelled in handling customer inquiries and achieving high-performance rankings. Chelsea then transitioned to a Product Design Intern role at Next Insurance, where they contributed to making insurance applications more user-friendly by providing feedback to the Product team. Chelsea later became a Business Insurance Advisor at Next Insurance, where they listened to customer pain points and recommended tailored coverage plans, achieving high customer satisfaction scores and earning recognition as Agent of the Month.
In 2022, Chelsea joined Co.Lab, an 8-week design cohort, as a Product Designer, collaborating with product managers and developers to create and launch a product. Chelsea also worked as a Product Designer at Next Insurance and collaborated with the team to create a responsive web application.
Throughout their career, Chelsea has gained skills in product design, customer service, office administration, and accounting.
Chelsea Leung has a diverse education history. In 2021, they obtained a Certificate in UX/UI Design from The University of Texas at Austin. Prior to that, they attended the Texas McCombs School of Business from 2016 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. Their field of study during their undergraduate studies was International Business, with a minor in Chinese.
In addition to their formal education, Chelsea has also obtained several certifications. In April 2022, they completed a series of courses offered by Coursera and Google, including "Build Wireframes and Low-Fidelity Prototypes," "Conduct UX Research and Test Early Concepts," "Create High-Fidelity Designs and Prototypes in Figma," "Design a User Experience for Social Good & Prepare for Jobs," and the "Google UX Design Specialization." Chelsea also completed a course on "Responsive Web Design in Adobe XD."
Furthermore, in March 2022, Chelsea acquired certifications in "Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design" and "Start the UX Design Process: Empathize, Define, and Ideate" through Coursera and Google. Additionally, in August 2021, they obtained the "Insurance Agent, Property & Casualty" certification from Next Insurance.
