Hua Chin

Hua Chin has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Product Designer at Next Insurance since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Way as a UI/UX Designer from 2018 to 2021. At Way, they were responsible for redesigning the app onboarding process, website home page, and conceptualizing a new marketplace platform.

In addition, Hua Chin worked as a UI/UX Designer Intern at Do Good Points in 2018, a Designer at Loggerhead Tools from June to September 2018, and a Research Assistant at Northwestern University from April to June 2018.

Furthermore, they gained experience as a Design Engineer Intern at D-Rev in 2017 and as a Teaching Assistant at Northwestern University from March to June 2017.

Prior to this, Hua Chin worked as a Design Medical Engineer at SHL Group (Scandinavian Health Limited) from 2013 to 2016, where they improved the user experience of a market auto injector and ensured medical regulation compliance.

Additionally, they worked as an Event Assistant at NTU Center for the Arts from September 2012 to June 2013 and as a Campus Execution Officer at ASUS from July 2010 to June 2011.

Hua Chin pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical Engineering from 2009 to 2013 at National Taiwan University. Afterward, Hua Chin went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Engineering Design and Innovation at Northwestern University from 2016 to 2017.
