Data Engineering Tech Team Lead at Next Insurance

Miky Schreiber has a diverse range of work experience in the field of data engineering and business intelligence.

Starting in 2005, Miky worked for the Israeli Air Force as a BI Developer and later became a BI System Architect. In this role, they were responsible for designing and developing BI systems for various business subjects, as well as web development.

From 2010 to 2011, Miky served as a BI Team Leader at the Israeli Air Force. Miky managed BI projects from end to end, including understanding customer requirements, analyzing business processes, and leading development and delivery to the customer. Miky also played a key role in consolidating development methodologies and tools in various projects and was involved in DW modeling, design, and development.

From 2011 to 2017, Miky worked as a BI & Big Data Engineer at Israel P,M.O. Their responsibilities included migrating the company's data from traditional Oracle DWH to Hadoop clusters, designing the cluster's architecture, and implementing new technologies. Miky also gained extensive experience in BI systems development, including collecting customer needs, designing Data Warehouse, rapid ETL, and dashboard development.

In 2017, Miky joined Crazy Labs as a Data Engineering Team Leader. In this role, they led an international team of 6 data developers and data QA. Miky was responsible for planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of the system. Miky also designed and created complex data processes using classical DWH and Big Data platforms.

Most recently, Miky has been working at Next Insurance since 2020. Miky started as a Senior Data Engineer and was promoted to Data Engineering Tech Team Lead in 2021.

Miky Schreiber completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science at Machon Lev from 2002 to 2005. Miky then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University, which they completed from 2008 to 2009.
