Ruth Zur

Ruth Zur has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and leadership. Ruth is currently working as a Backend Engineering Team Lead at Next Insurance since December 2021. Prior to that, they worked at NICE Ltd for a substantial amount of time in various roles. From June 2020 to September 2020, Ruth was a Backend Engineering Team Lead, managing a team of 10 developers and working with Agile methodology. Ruth also led the performance tests of the InterAct product and developed the Playback Application using .NET and SQL Server. From May 2018 to June 2020, they held the position of R&D Group Leader, managing 20 developers and overseeing the design and development of the Compliance Center product. From January 2016 to May 2018, Ruth was a R&D Group Leader, leading a multidisciplinary team and handling the design and development of the Realtime product based on Big Data technology. Prior to that, from January 2014 to January 2016, they worked as a Big Data Software Team Leader, focusing on developing NICE's Next Generation Platform using Big Data technologies. Before their leadership roles, Ruth worked as a Java Software Team Leader and Software Team Leader at NICE Ltd. Ruth started their career at NICE Ltd as a Software Engineer in August 2005 and worked there until January 2010.

Ruth Zur obtained their Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Computer Science from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Ruth attended the university from 2002 to 2005.
