Shai Alkoby

Shai Alkoby's work experience includes working as a Backend Software Engineer at Next Insurance since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Mobile Application Developer from 2016, where they created a Hebrew crosswords application with over 1 million downloads. Shai developed natively for both iOS and Android, using Firebase with GCP as a backend. Before that, Shai worked as a Full Stack Developer at Ofek 324 Unit - IAF from 2014 to 2021, where they coded a web application in Angular and developed micro-services using Node.js with PostgreSQL and MongoDB as databases. Shai also worked as a Backend Developer, creating a new server side using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and GraphQL, with PostgreSQL as a database. Shai has experience with Openshift, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, and Atlassian tools. Additionally, they worked as a Java Software Developer coding a large-scale Java application based on specific design specifications, utilizing Pl/SQL with an Oracle database from 2014 to 2017.

Shai Alkoby completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. This educational achievement occurred from 2011 to 2014.
