Tally Blum

Tally Blum has extensive experience in data engineering and database administration. They have worked at various companies in different roles.

In their most recent role at Next Insurance, Tally served as a Data Engineer, starting in July 2023.

Prior to that, at CME Group, Tally held the position of DATA Team Lead from January 2017 to June 2023. In this role, they managed a team of 5 DBA's and were responsible for all databases and data technologies in the company. Tally also played a key role in closing the Tel-Aviv office and assisting with the migration of on-premise datacenters into AWS Cloud. They had full responsibility for production and lab environments, including deployment, monitoring, and automation tasks.

Before joining CME Group, Tally worked as a System Oracle DBA at Traiana from 2009 to 2017.

Prior to that, Tally held various DBA roles at Teva Pharmaceuticals, IDF, Tangram Soft Ltd., partner, IDF - Mamram, and Mamtal.

Tally Blum's education history starts in the year 2000 when they attended John Bryce for a DBA 1-5 program, which lasted until 2004. Following this, from 2002 to 2007, Tally pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at The Open University of Israel. In 2022, Tally enrolled in OpsSchool for a 6-month course on DevOps. Additionally, in June 2023, Tally obtained certification in "Python Parallel and Concurrent Programming Part 1" from LinkedIn.
