Kelly Walters has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Kelly is currently working as an Operations Manager at Next League since January 2023. Prior to this, they were employed at Northfield IT where they held multiple positions.
At Northfield IT, Kelly started as a Computer System Analyst - Co-op from May 2017 to November 2017. Kelly then became a System Administrator from November 2017 to June 2019, where they troubleshooted deployment and content management system issues and responded to infrastructure system alerts. From July 2019 to July 2021, they worked as an Observability and Performance Engineer, collaborating with development teams to integrate applications into monitoring and observability tools.
In July 2021, Kelly was promoted to Team Lead, Observability and Performance Engineering at Northfield IT, a role they held until January 2023. During this time, they worked with a range of tools and languages, such as Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog, to monitor and visualize data from Kubernetes and virtual machine clusters.

Kelly also has experience as a Web Designer, working as a freelancer from April 2005 to August 2015. Additionally, they worked at The Brabar as an Inventory Clerk from June 2008 to May 2011, where they managed inventory, set up new items in the computer inventory system, and maintained the company's web store.
Finally, in 2003, Kelly worked remotely from their home office at Simtax Consultants Inc. as a Log Book Auditor for trucking companies. Kelly audited and reviewed Driver's Daily Log sheets using Microsoft Excel and an industry-specific application. Their tenure with Simtax Consultants Inc. lasted until 2008.
Kelly Walters attended Red River College Polytechnic from 2016 to 2018, where they studied Business Information Technology. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2005, Kelly attended the University of Manitoba and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. Additionally, Kelly obtained a certification as a Certified Incident Responder from PagerDuty in September 2020.
