Jan Hugenroth has over a decade of work experience in various industries. In 2006, they began their career as a Consultant Intern at Ernst & Young. The following year, they worked as an Analyst Intern at Deutsche Bank/RREEF Alternative Investments. In 2008, they were a Project Manager at Arcandor AG. In 2009, they were a Business Support Manager to the Group CEO at Thomas Cook Group. From 2010 to 2016, they were an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, where they advised clients across various industries on organizational transformation, process optimization and value creation programs. From 2016 to 2018, they were the VP Business Development at energielenker GmbH, where they adjusted the organizational structure and business processes for growth. Currently, they are the Founder & CEO of Next Matter, a modern purpose-built cloud platform for operations.

Jan Hugenroth completed a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Business Law from EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht between 2005 and 2008. In 2007, they completed a semester abroad at San Francisco State University in General Management. In 2012, they completed a Master of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship from INSEAD.
