Łukasz Szmit has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. 🚀 Łukasz is currently working at Next Matter as the Engineering Team Lead, leading the core Platform Team and supporting a cross-functional, remote team of engineers. Prior to this, they worked as an Engineering Lead at Next Matter, where they were responsible for overseeing the delivery of the company's roadmap and collaborating with other teams.

Before joining Next Matter, Łukasz worked at Workday as a Senior Software Development Engineer, where they led the Platform User Experience team and contributed to the development of various projects. 🚀 Łukasz also worked at Blood Pressure Log for Android as the owner and developed a popular blood pressure tracking application.

Łukasz also has experience working at companies like CurrencyFair.com, Facebook, Hostelworld.com, and University College Dublin, where they held various technical and leadership roles, such as Lead Engineer, Production Engineer, System Administrator, Research IT Senior Specialist, and IT Specialist.

Throughout their career, Łukasz demonstrated strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality products.

Łukasz Szmit's education history begins in 2001 when they attended The Silesian University of Technology. 🚀 Łukasz studied Automation and Robotics from 2001 to 2004. Following this, in 2006, they obtained a Diploma in Information Systems from Trinity College Dublin. In the same year, they also obtained an IELTS Academic certification with a score of 8.0 from Cambridge ESOL / British Council / IELTS Australia. Łukasz then pursued a BSc (Honors) in Information Systems from Trinity College Dublin from 2007 to 2009.
