Melissa Russell is the Director of Clinical Business Operations at NEXT Molecular Analytics. Melissa has over 15 years of experience in the biotech industry, with a focus on sales and marketing. Prior to joining NEXT Molecular Analytics, Melissa was the Director of Sales and Marketing at AIBioTech. During their time at AIBioTech, they also served as the Interim Sales Manager. In their current role, Melissa is responsible for developing the company’s strategic direction, negotiating complex contracts, and establishing customer service initiatives. Under their leadership, the company has seen significant growth in both its contract research and clinical testing businesses. Melissa is a passionate advocate for the biotech industry and is dedicated to helping their clients achieve their goals.

Melissa Russell has a degree from the School of Science and Humanities at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. Melissa is also an EMT-B from Chesterfield Fire and Emergency Services in Chesterfield, VA. Lastly, they have an accounting degree from John Tyler Community College in Chester, VA.
