Eugene Cotten

Eugene Cotten has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Eugene is currently the President at NEXT Renewable Fuels, a position they have held since August 2020. Prior to this role, Cotten worked at IAG for over a decade, starting in September 2009 and serving as the EVP Project Development - Process Consultant. Before joining IAG, they held the role of VP and General Manager at Big West Of California from 2005 to 2009. Cotten also worked at UOP LLC as a Process and Operations Consultant from 2003 to 2005. Earlier in their career, they held various positions at Valero Energy Corporation, including VP Operation Texas City & Houston Refineries from 2001 to 2003, VP General Manager Texas City Refinery from 1998 to 2001, and Operations Manager from 1995 to 1998.

Eugene Cotten obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma, from 1979 to 1984.
